Etrian Odyssey Nexus Gets New Combat Trailer and Launches Official Website

Atlus released a new trailer for their upcoming dungeon crawling RPG Etrian Odyssey Nexus, coming to Nintendo 3DS on February 5.

In Etrian Odyssey Nexus, players will map their way through various dungeons as they create their ideal party of explorers. Groups are made up of various classes characters who each offer a unique skill. It’s up to the player to decide how they wish to create their party, so if they want a party full of magic users then Etrian Odyssey Nexus can definitely make that happen.

The trailer shows more of Etrian Odyssey Nexus’ battle system and how players will take down enemies in the dungeons. Additionally, it shows how players level up skills and stats to grow stronger party members and face tougher enemies.

The publisher also launched the official website for the game, that gives players a preview of the playable classes and characters as well as the new systems introduced in Etrian Odyssey Nexus.

Author’s take: Being a pretty big fan of this series, I understand the importance of creating a balanced party to take into dungeons with me. The problem with Etrian Odyssey Nexus is that each character class offers so much that it actually takes a bit to decide what kind of party to create.
