Tactics Roguelite ‘Bad North: Jotunn Edition’ Has Launched on iOS and Android

Publisher Raw Fury has announced that the critically acclaimed tactical roguelite Bad North: Jotunn Edition, from developer Plausible Concept, is available now on iOS and Android for $4.99.

Having launched initially on PC-via Steam in November 2018, Bad North: Jotunn Edition has players take on a charming but brutal real-time tactics roguelite. In the game, you must defend their idyllic island kingdom against a horde of Viking invaders, as you lead the desperate exodus of your people.

What’s pretty neat about the game is that the islands are procedurally generated, making it so that every time you play, you’ll end up having a whole different and unique experience. It’s on these islands that you control the broad strokes of the battle, by giving high-level commands to your soldiers.

Via a press release, Raw Fury shared how happy they are to have had the chance to support the developers:

“If you’ll allow us a sentimental moment: it has been an absolute pleasure to work with the talented developers at Plausible Concept over the years to bring Bad North: Jotunn Edition to players on PC, consoles, and now optimized for mobile phones. From the beautiful artwork juxtaposed with charming brutality, to the simple structure that masks the deep strategy to achieve victory, this addictive microstrategy game truly is a work of art that we’re proud to have in the Raw Fury family of games.”

To prepare you for the battles ahead in Bad North: Jotunn Edition, the majestic Viking painter Robert Ragnar Ross is here to paint you a happy little island for plotting out his invasion strategy:
