Developer Walks Players Through New Demon’s Souls Remake Gameplay and Shows PS5 Enhancements

Sony Interactive Entertainment launched a new gameplay video for the Demon’s Souls remake coming to PlayStation 5 on November 12.

The video highlights new gameplay from Demon’s Souls commentated by Creative Director of the remake Gavin Moore. The team has aimed to make this remaster look and feel like a game released for the new generation while still feeling like the original. Players can customize their characters with deeper systems before entering the Nexus, where many of the characters have reprised their roles.

The video takes players to the gates of Boletaria, where some players will get to see a few Skelingtons who killed them at some point. Following the opening moments, players can take a look at most of the game’s opening and how it relates to what they remember.

Lastly, the video shows off the boss, Flame Lurker, who looks like players will be taken to hell. There will be a few gameplay options, such as choosing to use Performance Mode to play the game at 60fps.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Demon’s Souls, which some players won’t have to wait long for.
