Neptune and Her Friends Return to Steam When Megadimension Neptunia VIIR Launches on PC Next Week

Idea Factory International announced that Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will launch on PC-via Steam on October 22.

During the game’s first week on Steam, Megadimension Neptunia VIIR will be available at a 25% discount. There is also a Deluxe Bundle available to those who want it which includes:

• Special Art Collection
• Rough Sketches Collection
• (4x) PC Wallpapers
• (4x) Mobile Wallpapers

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is the updated version of the Megadimension Neptunia VII which was built in a new engine that allows the game to provide a smoother playing experience. Additionally, the game has received an updated battle system and a VR experience compatible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

The story of Megadimension Neptunia VIIR finds the Neptunia cast traveling from Gamindustri to the Zero dimension where the world is on the brink of collapse and protected by the last Goddess, Uzume Tennouboshi. The game’s VR mode (which can be played without a VR headset) allows players to hang out with the CPU Goddesses in their rooms and get to know them on a personal, non-lewd, level.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is available now on PlayStation 4.

Author’s take: The Neptunia series is what originally got me addicted to these niche JRPGs. Since I first played it, I’ve been addicted to these silly characters and have enjoyed almost every spin-off and mainline entry in the series. If you haven’t played a Neptunia game, then there’s no better time to start.
