Turn-Based Horror Adventure ‘It’s Dark Inside’ Revealed in Gameplay Trailer; Steam Early Access Launch in 2023

Pixadome announced they have been working on a turn-based horror adventure called It’s Dark Inside. The game is coming to PC via Steam Early Access in 2023 and will be featured in Turn-Based Fest from December 8 through December 12.

It’s Dark Inside has players assume the role of a mother trying to save her child while fighting against a god. However, during the attempt, the child is devoured by the god, and the mother leaps in and attempts to save them. Players will travel from organ to organ throughout the god’s insides and encounter others who have met the same fate. While some have made this their new home, it’s not a place you’ll want to be.

Creatures met along the way may help or hinder your quest. During gameplay, players will encounter turn-based movement in battles. Strategizing your approach to take down enemies is necessary, but a handful of weapons are at your disposal.

More information about It’s Dark Inside will come at a later date. However, the developer released a new trailer highlighting some of the unique gameplay and horror elements.

We’ll keep you updated on the release of It’s Dark Inside.
