Yuoni Launches Physical Release on PS5 as “Sunset Edition”

Chorus Worldwide announced that the Tricore-developed horror adventure Yuoni has launched as a physical release on PlayStation 5 in Europe and is available now.

The physical release is called Yuoni: Sunset Edition and comes with a specially designed box and set of postcards illustrating artwork from the game.

This release is only scheduled for Europe at this time, but we’ll keep you updated if the game will also receive a North American release, but at this time it looks like it’s EU only.

During gameplay, players will assume the role of a grade-schooler in ‘90s Japan, who has been whisked away to a world of permanent dusk and forced to play a deadly game of hide-and-seek. This first-person horror game from Tricore Inc. is not for the faint of heart, as Ai will encounter otherworldly horrors that leave her with only two choices: hide or die. Gameplay involves making your way through a maze of obstacles and ghosts and then returning to where you started without dying. Sound design plays a significant role in the scares on this one.
