Metallic Child Reveals Upcoming Collab With Sakuna of Rice and Ruin; It’s as Cute as You Imagined

Crest and Studio HG announced that their action rogue-like Metallic Child will launch a DLC collaboration with Sakuna of Rice and Ruin on March 31, 2022.

The collaboration DLC features a new episode titled ‘Of Rice and Cores,’ which includes Sakuna from the Edelweiss-developed action farming sim. Players can equip new items and bring weapons from Sakuna onto the battlefield. One of the Customs available is “Raiment of Harvest and Valor,” which is a combat Hoe with high damage.

Further, Kokoraowa will also be available from Sakuna of Rice and Ruin in this DLC. She will come with exclusive weapons.

The DLC will be available for $7.99 on Nintendo Switch and PC-Steam.

Metallic Child tells the story of an android named Rona, which is discovered in the game’s beginning parts. It’s up to the player to help Rona escape her prison by defeating everything in her way. This is a meta-fiction story established through dialogue between Rona and her Metallic Child, a mech that can be upgraded and accessed during the game in dungeons.
