Adventure Bullet-Hell ‘Yurukill: The Calumniation Games’ Coming West for PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC in 2022

Izanagi Games announced that they will publisher the bullet-hell Yurukill: The Calumniation Games on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2022.

The game was initially scheduled to release in 2021, but Hikaru Muno, younger brother of Homura Kawamoto (known for Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler and the author of the game’s original story), decided to delay the game when writing the scenario.

Yurukill: The Calumniation Games is an escape adventure game within the bullet-hell shoot ’em up genre. The game is based o the original story by Kakegurui: Compulsive Gambler author Homura Kawamoto. The game features character designs from Hiro Kiyohara, known for his work on Valkyria Revolution, and a soundtrack from Yuko Komiyama, who worked on the Monster Hunter series. The shoot ‘em up elements were developed by the veteran studio, G.Rev.

More details about the game surrounding its story and characters will be revealed closer to release.
