Open-World Action-Adventure ‘Crimson Desert’ Reveals Gameplay Trailer

During Gamescom 2023, Pearl Abyss revealed the official gameplay trailer for their upcoming open-world action-adventure Crimson Desert. There is quite a bit of footage to peruse here, from varied exploration and combat sequences. 

“Using its cutting-edge proprietary BlackSpace Engine, Pearl Abyss has harnessed the power of advanced technology to craft the next-generation gaming experience. This iconic title will introduce players to an unparalleled style of gameplay, boasting intricate graphics and exhilarating, high-octane action.” Players will control protagonist Kliff as he explores the Hernand region.

Crimson Desert is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game and is developed by the same company behind Black Desert. The game takes place in a high fantasy world that suffers from war across the region by a divided continent. Adventuring out into the unknown will mean you’ll have to fight for survival against powerful monsters, so only heroes really venture out past the walls. Players can gather into groups by hiring mercenaries that will make fights easier.
