Hyper Light Breaker Steam Early Access Launch Delayed to 2024

Developer Heart Machine and publisher Gearbox Publishing have announced that their previously unveiled roguelite title Hyper Light Breaker has delayed its Steam Early Access launch window to 2024. The initially planned date was Spring 2023.

This entry is an action rogue-lite, playable either single-player or multiplayer. The world of the Overgrowth contains several biomes, mysteries, and 3D environments to explore. Permanent upgrades can be earned, and character-specific storylines can be learned between each gameplay cycle. Further, movement capabilities like wall dashing, using a hoverboard, and using a glider are also incorporated. The landscape will also change with both hand-crafted and procedurally generated elements.
