The recent Yakuza Super Talk live stream on Nico Nico provided some updates regarding the franchise’s future. The next game’s development has been confirmed to be approaching its climax, with actors now recording dialogue, which usually occurs at least a fair ways into development. Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama has stated that while he can’t provide further comments on Ichiban’s next outing, more news on the adventure will likely be shared later this year.

Additionally, RGG Studio is working on other titles, with those games still being a complete mystery. This facet was mentioned previously, but it being reiterated means that they are determined to continue these multiple projects.
